Ferieguiden.no støtter Mitt Klima!

Turisme påvirker klimaet: en flytur for to fra Oslo til New York fører til større utslipp av klimagasser enn ett års kjøring med bil.
Klimaet påvirker turismen: mange reisemål blir rammet av klimaendringer. Økningen i stormer, nedbør, tørke og skader på økosystemer kan ikke lenger underslås.

Som partner med Mitt klima oppfordrer Ferieguiden.no sine brukere å bestille klimabilletter sammen med flybilletten eller pakketuren.

Hvordan får jeg kjøpt klimabillett til meg og min familie?

Klimabilletter er en frivillig ekstra betaling som alle kan kjøpe i tillegg til flybilletten. Prisen avhenger av flyavstanden. Inntektene fra klimabillettene investeres i klimaprosjekter i utviklingsland. I India blir dieselgeneratorer erstattet med strøm fra biogass, i Madagaskar bygges vindkraft opp. På den måten veier du som kunde opp for skaden som flyprisen har på klimaet.

Ferieguiden.no oppfordrer også sine brukere å si i fra til reisebyråer og turarrangører hvis de ikke tilbyr muligheten å kjøpe klimabilletter. Miljøet er truet og DU kan gjøre noe med dette.
